anja:and after that it's off to bed. andrej:my favorite place is actually andrej:the sofa area, andrej:and the kitchen. anja:i particularly love the little seating area by the window in the living room. anja:when we sit here on the sofa of an evening, anja:it is really light if we put the big light on, anja:or we have the floor lamps on. but they create a really harsh light … anja:we read a lot before going to sleep — including with lasse —
anja:and it would just be nice if the anja:end of the day could anja:be made really cozy. anja:only yesterday or the day before, lasse said: anja:"mummy, it's too bright here, i can't go to sleep here." sophia:so, when i first came into this room in the schafraneks' apartment — sophia:i thought it really is a lovely apartment. sophia:but the overall lighting is just too bright for them, sophia:and they cannot dim the lights.
sophia:there is not enough light above the work area, where they actually need light. sophia:and anja would really like to be able to sit there with the children in the evening, sophia:and it would then be easier for her to put the children to bed. sophia:i am putting the crany from lirio next to the sofa. sophia:the great thing about the crany is that it can give off a really bright light, but can also be dimmed. sophia:i am putting up a cielo pendant lamp sophia:from philips in the living room, right above the work area in order to make the room feel like a room and direct as much light as possible onto the work surface. sophia:we will fit the finn lamp, sophia:which we want to put next to the sofa, with an led bulb. the light is extremely warm and we will genuinely manage to save energy with it.
sophia:i have arranged a little sophia:surprise for the kitchen. sophia:at the back on the wall there is a board, sophia:at the top there is a strip of leds, sophia:and at the bottom there are individual spotlights — sophia:and the whole combination sophia:gives the room what it needs. andrej:it feels completely different, and now it's possible andrej:to cook in the evening... anja:… and my particular favorite: anja:the reading light in the kitchen. anja:…the people who fitted the light actually stood in anja:position and checked how easy it is to read books. anja:finally, anja:we can use the big sofa that we anja:bought specially for the purpose
