which trends do you see appearing in the market? we see a growing interest in creating a consistent look throughout the house, which brings tranquility to a home. we also see great demand from the consumer to be able to paint the skirting boards with the wall. this gives the room an extra spacious feeling. and do you respond to that by developing novelties? yes we do. we just developed 3 practical product families. they're trendy, but at the same time, they give a lasting class to your interior. we have angular profiles, more rounded ones and these are our classic silhouettes.
right. we have something for everyone. i also see you have different formats. yes. depending on the size and style of the room, you can choose to install a subtle or a larger skirting board. and these are all skirting boards? yes indeed, and they can also be used for other applications. for instance as panel mouldings, cornices or even as doorframes. ok!
they're very strong, aren't they? the profiles are made of durpolymerâ®: impact and water resistant, and easily installed! these are cover skirting boards: very useful for a quick renovation. they can simply be installed on top of an existing skirting board. yeah! and for curved walls, we also have a flexible version of all these existing shapes. a lot of possibilities! why don't you visit our house of personality?
great idea! thanks ruth. you're welcome. hi yves. hey greet. tell me, where are we now? we are in the house of personality. in our ostend headquarters, we have recreated a house with different rooms. each room has its own character, its own personality. you put a lot of emphasis on personalizing,
on putting personality into a room. what would you suggest for my interior? it starts with combining our products to express your personality, your character. tell me: who are you? what do you expect from an interior? ok, do you have an hour? i like light, high spaces. i love white surfaces with a few color accents. what space are you thinking of?
the living room. good! we have divided our catalog into different room types. we start the chapter of the living room with an abstract image, where you can still recognize the the roomtype. it's immediately clear how our products give extra character to the room. here we have combined modernistic cornices with a sleek indirect lighting profile combined with a high stepped skirting board, to give the wall some depth. this creates a quiet, cosy living room. that's my style! i love how cosy it looks.
let's have a look at a few applications in the house of personality. ok! this space is inspired by a cool beach house. hence the surfboard. a surfer who wanted a shock proof and water resistant room. a nice combination of shape and color. nice right? this was a boring hallway, which we made more dynamic by using a combination of panel mouldings. and there's the indirect lighting again.
it creates the illusion of a higher ceiling. now we enter our living room. here we created a classy interior by combining a geometric shape with panel mouldings whilst also adding a sober but yet creative use of colors. alright, and suppose i would like to combine all those elements together. is that possible? certainly! that way, you can make your very own dream house. and that's what everybody wants in the end. absolutely.
what an inspirational day i had! it's incredible how orac can give a space its own personality through a combination of skirting boards, cornices and panel mouldings. wonderful! now i'm off to make my own choices.
